Blog a day

I made it my mission to write an entry on my blog every day.  Some days I have done more than one.
Today,  I watched the interview YourHarlow.Com did of me and is posted on YouTube.
My in-laws were round,  we were discussing Phantasms in the Infirmary and then the subject of interviews came round.
I watched it and although it is strange listening to my own voice,  I made a lot of sense and spoke well

  4* review

Intriguing!

By Peter - 21 Nov 2014
Amazon Verified Purchase

I enjoyed reading what I think is one of Ram's best books yet. A fine mix of myth, scifi and fact made for a good read. The pace was a little pressured with the conclusion a bit rushed. Editing was better than in some of his other work too.

Thanks for that...  There is hope for this yet....

Phobic Wars IS a Hit

It Is reasuring that One Of my Old friends hw read Phobic wars and he loves it.
He comMented that In his opinion this was the best of my stories
Ironic as it has the worst reviews
I love it ..
He IS encouraging me to write a follow up story to phobic wars ...
IM considering this now. I always thought it had potential but my poor editing of it spoilt its reception

Haunted hospital horror

For all those who work in hospitals or ever have done, you will be familiar with haunted corridors, wards and spectral shenanigans.

Even if you are not a nurse, doctor or hospital staff, this anthology of ghostly tales is just what you need.
This is a work of horror fiction. It is a collection of ghostly short commentaries and ghoulish encounters, that occur in a fictitious hospital.
All assured to send shivers down your spine.
They are based on tales that have been shared by many hospital staff over many years of work in healthcare. They have been meticulously developed into the tales contained within this compendium of scary fantasies.

The sightings, strange sounds and sinister goings on of the spectral activity retold in this book are based on true experiences, that have become local folklore in many hospitals. The presence of those that have “unfinished business”, gripes or other reasons for not wanting to pass on, preferring to linger in the realm between life and death. Those that are not alive, but then again are not completely gone. They linger, hanging on to this mortal coil for their own reasons in whatever way they can. Not ready to let go, their affairs left incomplete for whatever the reason may be. Their presence remains, not always a peaceful one.

These myths take place in hospital, buildings that have been constructed to heal the sick and injured. However they are also edifices that have seen a lot of deaths. This collection is intended to relate some of the more memorable legends. Ghostly nuns, haunted wards and supernatural spectres... If you like to be spooked, this is the book for you.

Reviews = more books read

More reviews equate increased sales and a wider readership.

Please,  if you have read one of my books,  be sure to find the time to write a review of it.
It not only helps increase sales but more importantly increases the readership and familiarity with my work.
This is more important to me than royalties.

Snippet from the book

We Here's another sneaky peek...
Albert's pledge to never leave was truly realised as the gondolier, Albert's depiction of himself could be found in a different area of the mural every day. Like a mystical 'Where's Wally', children would search the mural for the painter and find him smiling back at them.

Proof - for the Paperback version of Phantasms in the Infirmary

They have finally arrived, two copies of the Proof version of the Paperback version of Phantasms in the Infirmary.
Its been available on Kindle for a few days and that is exciting enough and there are loads of downloads already. Phantasms in the Infirmary is getting a lot of noise... good noise.
Already had a reader post a 5* review and all going swimmingly.

However, seeing, feeling the paperback version is something else.

It looks like a book, feels like a book - hang on it is a book!!
The cover looks good and the choice of gloss over Matt finish works very well so we will keep this.

It flows well and needs a couple of adjustments to the formatting but it will be ready very soon and available for purchase - promise...

King of Horror

After publishing Phantasms in the Infirmary, as it is horror, one could boast at aspiring to be in the same conversations about authors such as Edgar Alan Poe or Steven King.
One day maybe, you never know?

They are my favourite horror writers. Poe, was the king of horror.

Steven King is a modern Poe and much more contemporary.

Some of his work is exemplary and the stuff of myths....
Books like: IT, CARRIE, SALEMS LOT, DREAM CATCHER, SKELETON CREW and of course THE SHINING.

Even the movie adaptations are SCARY!! IT for example still freaks me out.. This is one of the freaky scenes...

Scary Twins!!!
.

What’s your favourite King or Poe story, poem, or essay? What do you make of the authors?

In the meantime, read Phantasms in the Infirmary, enjoy it, share your experience and PLEASE  write a review
