Healthy Mental Dental Duo

As an author, one puts one's feelings and ideas on paper for all to see...  Full exposure.
It is with great pride to see that Mental Dental (MBP) and Obsession of the Damned are doing really well.
Good reviews, good sales = increased readership... #Proud

Survey results

I recently conducted a survey to see which book to follow up  on.
The most popular book to follow up on was Mental Dental (Murder by Proxy)
This is exciting for me as a relatively inexperienced author as it has started the ideas flowing for the follow up  novel.
I aim to make it as exciting, exhilarating and innovative as the first one... Now it's just about finding time to devote to writing it...  a holiday is due soon so an opportune time to take these ideas, construct them into a credible, powerful story that will make me proud.

Disturbingly ingenious

A book I am really proud of...
It's been described as ingenious and clever and do you know what,  I agree.
I have now written a few books and this is still one of my favourite tales.

Don't just take my word for  it,  read it and correct me if I'm wrong.

Growing up

We've just left Poland, having spent a few days meeting our new grandson, Castiel.
Hes a little smasher.

Now sitting on the plane listening to my  stored music on my Samsung galaxy note 4....
Among The many classic tunes,  Yeah  by Usher just played.
This always reminds me of our three boys and the first time we went clubbing with them...  The song holds connotations of the transition from little boys to young men.  Seeing them throw some shapes on the dance floor to this song.
Appropriate as we are leaving our little man and his parents behind.  Sad but also many happy memories now that will take us to the next time we meet

Overwhelming choice

There is an overwhelming choice of books available in paperback or Kindle.
How do we differentiate them from others?
Why would you choose specific ones and not others?
What makes a book successful?
How do we get them read?  Is it possible a masterpiece could remain hidden?
Is it the heavy support of the publishing machine and it's hunt for return on investment?

There are loads of possibilities out there that can cause a book to go viral... Despite it's quality? It remains a mystery..

It is such an impossible answer...  If one says read my book...  Does it really cause a negative and put readers off?

My reasons for writing are to share the stories with others.
I love the fact I have an imagination, I am creative and daring enough to put my neck on the line and brave enough to take a plunge...

I'm Proud of the books I've written and hopefully others will appreciate the reason and beauty of them.

Any ideas for increasing readership would be appreciated though..

First review... Excelent

Phantasms in the Infirmary
5.0 out of 5 stars *****

Read it at night. 5 Nov 2014
By Peter
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is a great compilation of chilling tales some of which I could personally relate to and led to a quick page turning read. Rams progress as an author is clear and Julies contribution is a great addition due to her different style. Look forward to the next volume

Plugging the new book - Phantasms in the Infirmary

I am putting quite a bit of effort in plugging our new book - Phantasms in the Infirmary, however there are three others available to read right now

Legally Lucky
Phobic Wars
Mental Dental (MBP)

They are all very different and very deserving, in my view but I am biased.

So why write?
Is it for the money? Well that to me is secondary.
I write to relax and unwind, leave the present and enter a creative realm of fiction.

I am very proud of what I have written and I appreciate it may not be Dickensian on Shakespearian but it is contemporary.

They are great stories underpinning my own unique style of writing.
I am used to writing research and reports professionally and this sometimes may be slightly unorthodox but its how I do it...

I hope you can give them a chance, read them, enjoy them. If you do (or don't), I ask you to please leave a review on my author page or on my website / blog...
This will help  distribute my work so more people can enjoy them.

Thanks for your time and interest and don' forget to share the fruits of my thoughts.

Thanks
Ram
