RPG Books
How many Gibraltarian authors do you know? I bet I am the first one... Not many of us about. Here's a reason to intrigue you into having a punt at a Gibraltarian author's books.
There a choice of genres and books to entertain that are intriguing and different.
They feel right and allow the reader to drift off, enjoying the experience.
The marketing of them could be better, I admit that but my reason for wanting you to read them is purely for a great story to be known and shared. They are warm, original and a glimpse into modern life and culture.
Great stories... To fulfil the requirements of any reader. Comedy, thrillers, contemporary horror, inspirational and interesting.

Obsession of the damned
Foreword:
I have written and published a few books now.
All have their own originality and enjoyment factor but none more so than Mental Dental (Murder by Proxy).
Mental Dental (MBP) is an ingenious and original work involving killer dentists and their seemingly undetectable crimes.
Mental Dental (MBP) can be described as “The Usual Suspects meets Dentistry”.
It is an enthralling and entangling story line dotted with clever deaths and psychopathic goings on in need of detection and need to be stopped.Mental Dental (MBP) is a unique story that will keep you guessing and hooked from start to finish. The main character of the story struggles against all odds to overcome her status of murder suspect to Heroine. This is a nail biting thriller full of twists and turns, one you need to get your teeth into to (pun intended). Following the sudden and unexpected death of a patient on the dentist chair in her practice, Dr Jessie Stack is facing her worst nightmare. Discredited and facing incarceration, she has to try and fathom out what really happened, Accused of murder, her world in a spin, she now has to try and beat the charge and uncover the truth. She embarks on a journey of discovery and detection to try solve the sinister psychopathic plot that is truly to blame and catch the menacing yet innovative perpetrators... Mental Dental (MBP) is a challenge of the mind, your mind, pitching your detective skills to try and solve the conundrum she faces. The reviews are few but the feedback encouraging. A lot of tongue in cheek and irregular cold killing but a compelling read.
As an author, this is the book I enjoyed writing the most and has certainly struck a chord with many readers, receiving great reviews. Although it has to yet sell the millions of copies I aspire to sell, it is a great story and will hopefully spurn more readers as it gets better known.
I have planned to write a sequel for a while.
Well here it is in the form of obsession of the damned or MDMBP II as it's subtitle.
This follows the story through to the next phase. It is: “what happened next” and hopefully equally as compelling and entertaining.
Watch out for twists and turns galore, murders and justice.
As with its predecessor, it is a work of fiction and as much as I enjoy writing it, it is a story and not “a manual for killers” so I hope it does not inspire anyone to copy the methods.

Mental Dental.... Book two
The follow up to Mental Dental (Murder by Proxy) is being written.
A mystery thriller that packs a lot of bite. This one too is fast becoming a great read. It will keep you guessing as the twists and turns keep happening in front of your very eyes.
I'm hoping it will be available in time for Christmas... Believe it or not, it will soon be here!
I know this may sound like a ploy to sell the 1st book but you really need to read the ingeniously different book in order to make sense of the follow up story.
I do need some suggestions for book 2, so any suggestions would be welcome.
As an incentive, I will send the person making the winning suggestion a free signed copy.

New 5 star review Mental Dental (Murder by Proxy)
Easy to read

Verified Purchase
It takes an exceptional imagination to come up with so many deaths on the dental chair! Easy to read, funny, with action and unpredictable ending, what else do you need from a good book? But please bear in mind that your perception of sitting on the dentist's chair may slightly change...
Truly enjoyable read.
Wow, a truly lovely and complimentary review. Thank you so much

New Book - Hilarity in the Hills
It is called "Hilarity in the Hills" and it is a comedic recount of a hoiday we had a few years ago.
It is a light hearted tale that is based on an actual holiday that we as a family did experience some years ago.

My first flirtation with writing comedy
My next book is already in the wire-frame stage.
It's my first attempt at writing comedy in a novel.
It's based on a family holiday we had in France.
Most is based on truth....
It's going to be a mix between national lampoons holiday and a trip advisor nightmare.
I am still at odds at a good definitive title but St the moment it's working title is Frolicking French Fun or Hilarity on the Hills...
Advice on this greatly appreciated.
I'm enjoying penning the memories and relieving the reflections.
Glad we can laugh about this now.
Not long now folks although next one up is the Spanish version of Phantasms in the Infirmary out later this month... In time for navidades... Christmas

Give the new novel some life...
Better still, buy a copy of The Ultimate Phantasms in the Infirmary either on the link below or Amazon as it's also on kindle

'it's here' The Ultimate Phantasms in the Infirmary
A collection of supernatural hospital horror stories.
It is an amalgamation of volume one and volume two of the Phantasms in the Infirmary series.
This also has an added story to it which was not published in the previous volumes.
The many years in healthcare have not only served the authors well in their career, there have also been the opportunities to collect a number of ghost stories and spectral phenomena that are shared in this book.
The stories of ghostly nuns, poltergeists, mad monks, returning dead members of staff and patients are told in all hospitals.
This is the best of them in one book.
An eerie collection to keep anyone awake at night.
Dare to visit St. Augustine's hospital?

ISBN-13: 978-1518652295 (CreateSpace-Assigned)
ISBN-10: 1518652298
BISAC: Fiction / Ghost
As planned, "The Ultimate Phantasms in the Infirmary" is about to be published and available on Kindle and Paperback (CreateSpace).
Phantasms Galore will be available in time for All hallows Eve - Halloween.
The paperback has a nice matt finish and the black and white theme really suits it...
This is an amalgamation of both Vol I and Vol II resulting in "one hell of a book of ghost stories"
I am really pleased with it and so will you.
It is not just another book, it is several different theories put into practice too.
The stories have been developed from tales shared in many hospitals by many health care workers.
They have been spiced up for the delectation of the reader - You!
Two authors have contributed to it plus the Facebook page has produced an extra story that is included within it.
The third difference is that reader contributions have been added.
A Special Thanks goes to Pete Woolgar (Sussex,UK).
Pete was instrumental in adding in the seeds of the extra story and the results... Genius!
What happens now?
Well, I am just awaiting the review process to be completed, then after this, it will be available.
Next, get the book read and make it a top read around the world... Nothing wrong in dreaming big!
Be patient my friends, it is coming soon....

A peek inside the new batch of stories
A sneaky peek inside Phantasms in the InfirmaryVolume II....
Prologue
"The more enlightened our houses are, the more their walls ooze ghosts’. author"Italo Calvino
I feel the quote above is a good introduction to this sequel. It is from Italo Calvino, the journalist and writer of short stories and novels. It is appropriate in two ways, firstly it directly mentions an enlightened building and it is attributable to hospitals, centers of medicine, science and knowledge. Secondly is the fact that these buildings walls will ooze with a plethora of paranormal phenomena and apparitions aplenty.
A ghost can be describes as a disembodied human being who is "lost" and bound to their earthly surroundings for a myriad of differing reasons. Due to the nature of hospitals, medical facilities may be the last place a departed soul remembers, and a place where their last state of mind was not so good. It is therefore not uncommon for a hospital to be haunted by the presence of the departed.
Hospitals are an ideal environment where a gravely ill or infirm mortal departs to a different plain. Granted, this can occur in any place but the frequency that they arise in these built environs is a near certainty that these will result in a haunting. Mind warping drugs may be administered, added to this, the strong physical and emotional suffering by the deceased, is it any wonder the hospital settings are rife with ghosts. Could this be the reason so many nurses have ghost stories from within the hospital walls?
Phantasms in the Infirmary, was our first collection of some of the many spectral phenomena that have been reported over the many years. This was the tip of this spectral iceberg but there are plenty more where they came from.
They are stories that have been adapted for the enjoyment of the reader but they are none the less, true representations of ghostly encounters in hospitals from around the world. As disturbing as they some of them may be, the next batch of tales has been requested and this is why Volume II needed to be written.
The following assembly of ghoulish accounts attempts to provide an account of the disembodied spirits that roam the extensive corridors and wards of many a healthcare establishment that have witnessed the end of many a life.
The fictitious St Augustus Hospital is again, representative of the myriad of hospitals worldwide which harbour the many apparitions within them. St Augustus Hospital may be a made-up institution but it is where these off-kilter beings continue their search for help and direction. Within the medium of fiction, it is hoped that these ghosts that manifest themselves as moving shadows, see-through apparitions, cold spots and disembodied voices have their story told.
Following the publication of the first volume, we have had numerous emails and suggestions of what to include in this one. These include dark, human-like figures standing at the foot of hospital beds, bright orbs that appear and follow a pre-ordained and non-random path and apparitions aplenty.
We again hope that these stories are enjoyed and do not cause any alarm or distress to the reader. After all they are intended to be tales that have been articulated and re-told for the enjoyment of the lover of the horror genre with an original slant to it.
They are not full of gore and bloodshed and try to extract the human aspect of the stories behind the legends of the inhuman facades that ghosts and spectres represent.
In many ways, we haunt ourselves with the belief that they, ghosts exist. However can we be sure they don’t exist?
