Inspired writing

The ideas surge through your mind, bouncing within your head, snapping from one synapse to another... The inception of a story begins.
If it's a good idea, it stays there and you plan ahead.
As with all my novels, I have followed that eureka moment with hours of creativity and enjoyment.
The commitment of completing a book is a work of love, effort and belief.
I have no regrets and although I aspire to get these read by as many people as possible, I am also aware that they may lack in some technical perfection... However, does the 'odd editing eeror' make them poor? Maybe to some, however it should not detract from the essence and body of the tale.
The story should be told, no matter what the finish is like. By awaiting the perfect diamond, you may miss out on other precious things.
So why not give a truly independent range of books a try and judge the content and flow.

Thrilled at the charts climbing book but need reviews

My killer thriller novel Obsession of the Damned is being read and enjoyed by many.
It's slowly becoming a 'must read' for thrill seekers and murder mystery genre aficionados.

It makes sense to read Mental Dental (Murder by Proxy) first but Obsession of the Damned is a great stand alone novel.

The 5 star review it has is well deserved but it needs more readers to leave a review.

Once these start to accumulate, more readers will flock to it and enjoy the complexity of the story.

A murderous sort

Meet Dr. Stephen Lambe, DDS.
Dentist, murderer, psychopath and the embodiment of darkness and doom.
Was it his fault he was slightly less nice than the norm?

After all, he was left to be brought up by his dysfunctional dad and led to his strange, maladaptive and dangerous behaviours developing.

Stephen Lambe’s heart was far from right. He was evil to the core. He unquestionably needed to be incarcerated in a high security prison and was sent to HMP Frankland in the North East of the country. He was a smooth operator and never seemed to express much emotion. He was cool, calm and collected..  DANGEROUS.

Lambe was one of the trio of killer dentists involved in the mayhem and murder in Mental Dental (Murder by Proxy).
Thankfully incarcerated but did this stop his manipulation and proxy chaos?
The follow up novel, Obsession of The Damned may interest you if you want to find out more.

Well worth a read.

Potential best selling Novel

The Ultimate Phantasms in the Infirmary.
Our new book has the potential and pedigree to succeed.
Why?  Well evidence, only after 1day of being published, it had 181likes on Facebook and has sold a few copies of the paperback edition already.
The other factors include Halloween and maybe even Xmas gift considereration.
This book makes an ideal present for doctors, nurses and medics throughout the English speaking world.
It's not heavy and arduous reading and could be enjoyed by anyone with an interest in the occult or supernatural.
The short stories lend themselves to reading between work,  enough to immerse the reader into the world of imagination without totally separating them from the real world and tasks at hand.

It's a very enjoyable genre too.

The paperback version is available on the createspace website and Amazon websites.
There is a reasonably priced Kindle version too.

The link below will direct you to the paperback version.

Ultimate PITI

Enjoy and please don't have nightmares...!

Quality or quantity

As a self published author, iit's vital to be able to attain essential information on how the fruits of one's pen are doing.
Distribution of the books and Reviews are important.
Distribution will mean increased readership and reviews will allow potential readers to engage with ones portfolio of novels.
However,  are readers clicking on the reviews or making an assumption on just numbers?
Quality or quantity?

What are your thoughts on this?

Self published author... It's not easy

Writing books is easy in comparison to all the promotion and marketing of the end product.
It doesn't matter how good the writing is or the stories if no one is aware they are there for the taking.
Blog, Google +, #twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn groups, websites etc.  It's a big ask.
Especially when you also have a day job...!
The efforts are tremendous,  the returns are meager in comparison.  However one is like a dog with a bone,  I won't let go.
I know the novels are good,  they will succeed and be good sellers.
Blood, sweat and coffee!!!
All that is left to do is persevere...  Wish me luck 😎

First novels....

Graham Norton... 'People have a tendency to write big chunks about their lives in first novels and scripts...'

So true....
What are your thoughts on this?
Is it inevitable?  Is it vanity?
