Obsessive, compulsive Reads... OCR
The telephone rang; Jessie’s mobile was whirring incessantly. She picked it up and looked at the screen, “Unknown Caller”.
She was hesitant to take the call as her unwanted caller had not ceased at their attempts to intimidate the young dentist. Plucking up the courage, she accepted the call and tentatively answered it, expecting the customary silence. ‘Hello’ she asked.
‘Hi Jessie, it’s me, Michael, Michael Miller’ the voice replied. ‘Michael, thank you for calling, what a relief, I thought it was going to be another intimidating silent call’, her voice desperate for reassurance and hungry for information.
‘As agreed, our geek squad, the I.T. investigators have tried to trace the call and it is coming from an unregistered mobile telephone and the calls are originating from the North-East of England’
Jessie immediately asked ‘Do you know who it is then?’
‘No, sorry it isn’t as easy as that Jessie’ Miller continued, however, there is a small link, Prisoner 3462666 resides in Frankland Prison in the North-East’....
This is a tiny extract from the novel 'Obsession of The Damned'
This is my last published book and follows on from Mental Dental (MBP) a thriller series which is still evolving.
Both books in the series are immaculately written with the intertwined sub plots, tones and mind boggling characters.
The stories are full of covert detection opportunities that will help you, the reader, try and second-guess what is building up.
However, it will not be easy to unpick the plot.
It's been well received and keenly read, however, please support this psychological thrillers by writing a review on Amazon.
Thanks in advance for your support folks.

Obsession... Not by CK!!
A stimulating novela.
Obsession of the Damned addresses the evil that is possible by humans.
The challenge is to crack the case and second guess what happens next.
A truly memorable mystery thriller, a powerful story that takes the reader, you, to the brink of tragedy and beyond.
Everyone will be moved by what happens to the main protagonist, Dr Jessie Stack as she once again faces psychological pain and near death experiences.
Download an ebook or purchase a very readable paperback.

Glimpse into the content of Obsession
A look inside Obsession of The Damned...
This is part of chapter 2 and to five it some context, it is following the evil three, the trilogy of terror as they get sent to prison...
Two long hours after setting off from the Old Bailey, handcuffed and sat in the cramped transport hold within it, doors closed, no windows or breeze, a hot light in close proximity making the journey more uncomfortable and claustrophobic. The van finally stopped meaning they had arrived at their destination.
The drama of the court hearing behind him, Felix Collins, handcuffs by the wrists, a broken and disgraced man, was helped off his seat and stood up as felt the relief of the cramped journey drain from his legs. He was escorted to the back of the transport vehicle which now had the rear door open and he squinted as the sunlight hit his eyes that had endured two long hours of sensory deprivation.
‘Mind your step prisoner’ the driver coldly directed himself as he ushered Collins off the vehicle and down the three steps to the ground.
Collins clumsily complied, the circulation still not fully restored to his cramped legs, as he looked around and saw they were within the prison grounds.
There were towering metal fences and high concrete walls casting long shadows on the rough gravelled terrain beneath him. The construction of this edifice was definitely centred on keeping the prisoners in and the public safe. Collins gulped as the point of no return and realisation hit him. He was now in the prison system and at risk from villains, murderers, rapists and the like he was not used to. Gone was the possibility of choice, he would not have the safety of his unholy trilogy to keep him safe. No support from his fellow conspirators to direct him and he was now alone, something he did not like to admit to himself but had to face.
A short walk later, they were at the first of many doors that opened for him and then banged shut after him. The transport officer handed him over to a prison officer and his handcuffs were removed and his journey into hell continued.
The cuffs coming off were a relief, the hairs and skin under them had been uncomfortable for hours but he had no control or way of relieving the discomfort, now there was finally some.
The escorting officer held Collins by the elbow directing him through the doors and passageways, a maze of concrete that was quickly suffocating him as he went further in.
He walked down the cold corridors and finally taken to a small room. Collins was asked to strip naked.
‘Remove your clothing and put it in this bag Collins’ the guard said.
This was not a request but an order, he still needed to get used to being spoken to in this manner.
There was no politeness and just cold hard statements.

Obsession of the Damned. Beautifully created drama
I have written and published a few books now. All of them have their own individual charm, originality and enjoyment factor but none more so than Mental Dental (Murder by Proxy).
It is an enthralling and entangling story line dotted with clever deaths and psychopathic goings on in need of detection and need to be stopped.
Mental Dental (MBP) is a unique story that will keep you guessing and hooked from start to finish. It is full of differing streams and takes the reader into a roller coaster ride of mystery, crime and mayhem.
The main character of the story struggles against all odds to overcome her status of murder suspect to becoming the heroine of the story.
This is a nail biting thriller full of twists and turns, one you need to get your teeth into to (pun intended).
Following the sudden and unexpected death of a patient on the dentist chair in her practice, Dr Jessie Stack is facing her worst nightmare. Discredited and facing incarceration, she has to try and fathom out what really happened,
Accused of murder, her world in a spin, she now has to try and beat the charge and uncover the truth.
She embarks on a journey of discovery and detection to try to solve the sinister psychopathic plot that is truly to blame and catch the menacing yet innovative perpetrators...
Mental Dental (MBP) is a challenge of the mind, your mind, pitching your detective skills to try and unravel the conundrum Jessie Stark faces.
The reviews are few but the feedback encouraging.

A taster of obsession
How about a taster....
Chapter 1 Divided and conquered
“Killer dentists jailed for life” was the headline on the front of newspapers and internet feeds across the world. Lambe, Collins and Brian had indiscriminately killed for their amusement and sick pleasure. They had managed to terrorise communities, for most of their time, undetected. However the net had closed in on them. All good things do come to he who waits and justice had prevailed. They had been held on remand whilst the case was built and this had been three months in the waiting. The three ruthless criminals were on the dock, Lambe and Brian smirking and laughing madly at the crowd. They stole a defiant kiss from each other before being separated by one of the security men. Collins was crying, wrecked by the life that he now faced. They were now convicted criminals. Gone were the luxuries and lifestyles they had been accustomed to, gone were the privileges and perversions. Also gone was the chance to harm anyone else in a dental clinic ever again... The judge, Mr Justice Bowles, said “take them down‟ in a stern voice that echoed across the quiet crown court that soon erupted in relief and jubilation from the gallery. No one was more relieved than Dr Jessie Stark, the heroic dentist who had uncovered the sinister trio and although deaths aplenty had come about, she surely had prevented many more. She had set off on her investigative journey on the back of the accusations of murder Jessie herself had to endure thanks to the malevolent trio. Now, society was safer and she was proven innocent. It had been no mean feat to establish a link between the otherwise sporadic murders and capture the evidence to ensure the net was cast over the killers. She, Dr Jessie Stark, a dentist, had single headedly done what a whole department of detectives, trained in their investigative craft, had failed. The press had revelled in the shocking story that had happened in the heart of middle England and sold countless copies of their periodicals on the back of society’s innate morbid curiosity. It certainly was an innovative and poignant story revealing the deficits and flaws in systems that should have safeguarded the victims as well as the errors of judgement from the authorities in their investigation of the crimes. Stephen Lambe, a.k.a. Adam Shaw and his fellow accomplices Felix Collins and Gemma Brian were found guilty for the deaths of nineteen patients, four Polish builders and the two dental health professionals that had lost their lives as a result of their psychopathic yet clever murderous spree. They were the catalysts of death and mayhem. They had managed to inflict all this chaos and murderous acts via other people, innocent victims being dispatched by blameless perpetrators whilst they remained righteous and undetected. They were however not undetectable and this is where the resilience and strength of the wrongly accused Jessie Stack was needed. She was determined to go that extra mile and establish the truth. The serial killers had claimed countless lives and got away with it until she intervened. However, they had been caught now and all they had to look forward to was prison life. A long time behind bars, they were to serve several concurrent life sentences in the penal system, obeying rules and paying society back for their monstrous misdemeanours. This was going to be hard on at least Collins, he was weak.

Obsession of the damned
Foreword:
I have written and published a few books now.
All have their own originality and enjoyment factor but none more so than Mental Dental (Murder by Proxy).
Mental Dental (MBP) is an ingenious and original work involving killer dentists and their seemingly undetectable crimes.
Mental Dental (MBP) can be described as “The Usual Suspects meets Dentistry”.
It is an enthralling and entangling story line dotted with clever deaths and psychopathic goings on in need of detection and need to be stopped.Mental Dental (MBP) is a unique story that will keep you guessing and hooked from start to finish. Mental Dental (MBP) is a challenge of the mind, your mind, pitching your detective skills to try and solve the conundrum she faces. The reviews are few but the feedback encouraging. A lot of tongue in cheek and irregular cold killing but a compelling read.
As an author, this is the book I enjoyed writing the most and has certainly struck a chord with many readers, receiving great reviews. Although it has to yet sell the millions of copies I aspire to sell, it is a great story and will hopefully spurn more readers as it gets better known.
I have planned to write a sequel for a while.
Well here it is in the form of obsession of the damned or MDMBP II as it's subtitle.
This follows the story through to the next phase. It is: “what happened next” and hopefully equally as compelling and entertaining.
Watch out for twists and turns galore, murders and justice.
As with its predecessor, it is a work of fiction and as much as I enjoy writing it, it is a story and not “a manual for killers” so I hope it does not inspire anyone to copy the methods.

New title... Thoughts?
Mental Dental (Murder by Proxy), part 2 has been in construction and development for a while.
I have nearly completed draft one and still trying to think of a snappy title the reflects the Story.
I have been working with Mental Dental (MBP) part 2 but now have a great title....
THE OBSESSION OF THE DAMNED
Well, what do you think of it?
Does it attract you to look into it or more so buy it and read it?
I think the title is quite snazzy and works for me.
Comments and thoughts are welcome.
