Words, communication and development

It's fascinating how we progress, grow and learn.
I have three sons and now two grandsons who are now starting to form words to converse with the world. To make their selves heard and understood.

I love communication and words but even more so when we have 'dinador', dog, apple and others as well as animal noises to aid explanations.
It's a wonder that never ceases to inspire and I'm greatful for the chance to have seen it with my own sons and now with the next generation of the family.

Soon they will be able to read and write their own stories and share their tales in their own blogs... I look forward to the day.

Writing woes

Another day without writing a word on the new book...  Busy and tiring day job has left me completely shattered.
Note to self...  Remain motivated.

Systematic writing needed again.  Get the rhythm going and aim to write 2000 words a day for the next week?

T-shirt design for votes

My son told me about this site..  Qwertee.Com where you can design a T-shirt and vote for it,  get it printed etc...
I submitted my designs and they are there waiting for votes.
Have a look and please support them.  Wouldn't it be cool if they were to be available all over the world?

Being one of the Story tellers

Story telling has been used for centuries to pass on wisdom.
They educate us on morality,  academic prowess and language. Stories however,  also entertain and form the basis of other mediums of entertainment including television and radio.
The books I have written, I believe, accomplish the whole spectrum of these fore mentioned aims.
Sharing them with strangers as well as those nearest and dearest takes time,  revisions and daring.  Daring to be the story tellers,  daring to be original, daring to be open with ones translated thoughts.  Thoughts transferred onto a medium that can be seen,  read,  understood and critiqued by anyone.
I am proud to be one of these story tellers.
I am glad to be brave enough to impart and share ideas.  Pleased to offer you a glimpse of my stories. Honoured to have them read and pleased they are enjoyable.
The experience is excellent on the whole.  Few critical reviews have been negative. This is to be expected as the style,  composition or story will not suit everyone.  One can only learn from them and become a stronger and more effective story teller. As my wife says,  Every threat is an opportunity in disguise..
I plan to tell more stories,  write more books standing firmly and proudly behind my current portfolio of work.

Thank you to all that have read them. Thank you to those who will take a chance on reading a book by a new author.
Hello to all who already know me and I await to know those I have yet to interact with.

They are all part of me and my conscious desire to share the enjoyment.
Here's to many more.

Hidden treasure

So many hours devoted to producing a creative piece that engages and entertains.
Writing a book is hard work but fun.
It is the process akin to whittling out a statuette from a piece of crude timber.
The elements of paper, ink, words etc are there.
The author juggles, forms and creates a formated piece of ideas and thoughts that are shared publicly with good faith.

There are hidden treasures out in the ether that are waiting to be discovered.

Be brave,  take a plunge and dare to read new authors...

I just finished that book by Shakespeare.
Which one?
William of course!!!

Discover books,  read, enjoy and learn from them.
If used correctly,  there is nothing more powerful than words...
