Growing up

We've just left Poland, having spent a few days meeting our new grandson, Castiel.
Hes a little smasher.

Now sitting on the plane listening to my  stored music on my Samsung galaxy note 4....
Among The many classic tunes,  Yeah  by Usher just played.
This always reminds me of our three boys and the first time we went clubbing with them...  The song holds connotations of the transition from little boys to young men.  Seeing them throw some shapes on the dance floor to this song.
Appropriate as we are leaving our little man and his parents behind.  Sad but also many happy memories now that will take us to the next time we meet

Easter Sunday

It's Easter Sunday and I am on call from last Monday through until Tuesday.
Tuesday is going to be a relief.
Back to relative normality.
I am planning to complete some of my writing duties then.
There are a few stories I need to draft for Phantasms in the Infirmary Vol II.
There are also a few other projects in the midst so it would be great to address these too.
In between all this,  devote some time to my grandson Heath.
He is incredibly beautiful,  he's an angel.
In the meantime Happy Easter... 🐇🐣

Grandparenthood

We finally became grandparents..
Heath was born weighing in at 7lb 9oz on 26.03.15.

He is absolutely beautiful...

Here's a pic of him being held by both authors of Phantasms in the Infirmary...  His gran and grandad

Grandparenthood is around the corner

This is a blog entry with no mention of my writing..
I am posting this because in little over 5 weeks baby G  will be making an appearance.
Our first grandchild,  the newest leaf on our family tree,  the next generation.
We are so excited...

Obviously,  I will post a pic on here when he or she is born...
My prediction,  a boy,  8 lb 3oz...
However, in truth I will be happy no matter what... 😃

Week off... For baby

Working full time in the busy health service is very tiring but rewarding.

Assessing and treating the sick,  management of the busy teams under my wing,  paper work...  Mountains of it....

Having time to write is not easy.
There are always more important things to take priority.

I have taken a week off to catch up on writing and finishing off some stuff.
However,  the other stuff has taken top priority,  especially as one of them was becoming a grandad!!!

March 2015 is when we meet the next generation.
We are so excited at becoming grandparents,  such a joy and so wonderful for our son and daughter in law... And us of course!

Please see the scan of our grandchild...

I will be getting back on track soon...
