How does one handle a negative review?
I was  checking my author page on Amazon and noticed a new one star review... Gasp!!
The reviewer entitled the review... Boredom in the Infirmary

Their comments...
Dreadful book. Badly written and the 'horror' stories are a joke. Don't waste your time or money on this rubbish.

Trying to be open and honest...  I accept the destructive and unhelpful review. However the book is not Gore but more supernatural phenomena. If it's Gore one wants to read,  then this is not the book to read....

Thankfully, the rest of the reviews are good and encouraging.

I appreciate that not everyone will like everything and as the old Spanish proverb says.. The book of individual taste remains blank...  Each to his own..  Still!!

Friendly and not so friendly visitors

A hospital stay is in most part,  traumatic to a point.
Add in an apparition from a spectral being and the benign admission becomes a nightmare.
These scenes of Phantasms, ghosts and ghoulish goings on have been witnessed and shared by friends and colleagues in various hospitals around the world.

The desire to communicate with the living by the dead tend to result in frighteningly good material.
Material we have tried to share with you.
The theme and thread of ghoulish phenomenon is maintained throughout the collection of tales.
These stories have been spun slightly to make them more readable but are all real.
They have happened and continue to occur. Shadows and voices with no physical form at their source.
Visitors from beyond the grave,  passing over to our world from the other side.

Please read,  enjoy, share and review the original work of fiction. 
A collection of good old fashioned horror, not gore.
The yarns are meant to make you jump and send shivers down your spine. They are not created to shock the reader with bloody mayhem and gore...
Phantasms in the Infirmary is this book that will get you talking and wandering about hospital environments..

Film waiting to be made

Great books are written with live, care, imagination and hope.

Mental Dental (Murder by Proxy)  is one of those...
Written with the intention to entertain.
It needs to be discovered,  recommended and even made into a movie!!

It's got a great script waiting to be developed into a best selling thriller of a movie.
This one has plenty of blood and Gore,  sexual and crime...

A good old fashioned horror story collection.

Short stories - Ghosts not Gore

Horror:
Horror unfortunately is synonymous with  themes based on grisly, gruesome, violent, bloodthirsty, bloody and brutal acts.

The films such as the Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Friday 13th and Saw have given the ghost stories a bad name.

Phantasms in the infirmary is far from this.
It is horror but without the severing of heads or pools of blood. It is representative of the good old fashioned ghost stories. Things that go bump in the night, stories to make you think and not cringe!

It is a book that is meant to give you goosebumps but in a nice way, without the bloody violence associated with the genre. There are ghosts and specters but not violence for the shock value of it.

Please give this book a try as I fear it may be misrepresented by the genre.
