Price revisions

There is simply nothing like the physical presence and feel of a paperback. It is still special.
Ebook royalties are massive in comparison however, my mission is to get my books read. With this in mind,  I have revised the books I have published on createspace and dropped their prices. This is reflected on the Amazon author page already.
My aim, get these books read. That is all.
Profit margins are secondary and otherwise unimportant.
Hopefully, more readers will access the paperback version of the catalogue and entertain themselves with this portfolio of work.

Great reviews but for 1...
With 9 out of 10, the others being great reviews,  it proves that you can please some people some of the time but you cannot please everyone all the time...

It's always disappointing to get an unfavourable and even unfair review however I soldier on.

Hilarity in the Hills

Music to write to...

I find writing with music on the background a very useful way to generate ideas and block out the world.
I use an eclectic mix of tracks and sounds and vary them depending on my project and mood.

What music do you write best to?

Is a classical background music or operatic backdrop your preferred medium or a heavy rock track to get the words flowing onto paper?
With that statement, paper or PC??

Do you prefer silence?
Indoors or in the great outdoors?

What Happens When You Get 50 Amazon Reviews? The algorithms at Amazon.com mean that when a book hits 50 reviews, Amazon starts marketing it FOR you, including your book in newsletters to buyers who are interested in that genre.

Excited at the prospect of visiting the Azores

We are planning a trip to the Azores later this week and I am excited at the prospect of visiting.
Why? Apart from being a holiday I originate from Gibraltar and the link is the Azores-Gibraltar Transform Fault.

The tectonic plate that connects me to both points of reference.
The other is that I have written and published Phobic Wars, a work of fiction that connects with the ancient city of Atlantis.

Now, I can be inspired to write a follow up?
It's certainly a great focus for the visit.
