Well the basis of this is my disgust and utter contempt for Cockroaches.
Coming from a hot country, we would see them in many areas..
Despite the role of the man being the protector as the stronger partner, Julie, my wife, tends to take care of any Cockroaches we come across on holiday!
I will have run, or hobbled off, leaving her stranded!!
However, in order not to give them a totally negative impression, the Cockroaches are not so vilified.
