Music can influence writing.
Some prefer classical music.
Some like easy listening, rock, symphonic rock... The options are endless.
My preferred genre to write to includes music by groups such as Yes, Pink Floyd, some Deep Purple, Glenn Hughes, Camel, especially song within a song and the whole Stationary Traveller album.
Barclay James Harvest, kansas, Rush, UFO and even some Van Halen....
They all influence mood, thinking and ideas especially with the memories some of the tunes trigger...
