My family and I have been in love with greyhounds for decades and have rescued 6 over the many years.
I have written a book based on one of our pooches, RosieG.
It is a sweet little story and although ficticious, it's based on her life.
Writing it was an emotional rollercoaster, it made me weep thinking back to our Rosie.
She was a beautiful black greyhound that was full of love for us.
She was with us, part of our family, when I was at my lowest, following a stay in intensive care, she would come up the stairs and lie beside me in bed because I was too ill to go down.
She loved our children and our grandchildren... There are a few scattered photos within the book of Rosie and the grandchildren
She died after getting osteosarcoma š¢
I hope you enjoy reading this story that is a tribute to all the greyhounds that have come into our lives, to those we have enabled to rescue and give them loving forever homes.
For those we enabled to go running Free....
